Real estate marketing budget calculator for a project launch

Plan the marketing budget for a project, and see the leads, site visits and cost per booking it implies.

Your numbers

Results are estimates to guide decisions, not financial advice. Your numbers stay in your browser.

Plan by bookings, not by media

A project budget is easiest to judge per booking. If one booking is worth crores, spending a few lakh to win it is reasonable; the question is whether your funnel can turn the budget into enough site visits.

Budget = units × average price × marketing %
Leads needed = units ÷ (site-visit rate × booking rate)
Affordable cost per lead = budget ÷ leads needed

Where budgets usually go wrong

  • Too much spent at launch and too little for the slow middle months.
  • Leads counted, but site visits and bookings not tracked by source.
  • Sales gallery and follow-up not ready for the leads ads bring in.

Questions

Does the budget include channel partner commissions?

No. Enter only marketing: digital ads, outdoor, print, events, content and agency fees. Brokerage is usually tracked separately.

What booking rate should I use?

Use your last project's numbers if you have them, by source. Site-visit-to-booking rates differ a lot between luxury and mid-segment projects.

Why show cost per site visit?

Site visits are the clearest sign a lead is real. Comparing channels on cost per site visit, not cost per lead, shows which actually work.

Is my data saved?

No. The calculation runs in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you choose to email yourself the result.
